Tuition and Financial Aid at NYSMDA

Tuition & Financial Aid for Medical & Dental Assistants at NYSMDA.

Our Financial Aid Advisors work with each prospective student personally to determine their financial aid eligibility.  Financial aid questions are answered clearly and financial aid options are explained thoroughly so prospective medical assistant training and dental assistant program students, as well as graduates can move forward confidently and without delay.

Financial Aid Packages may include Pell Grants, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants ("SEOG"), Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans or Parent Loans.  The school also offers tuition payment plans and honors veteran’s benefits as well as many private and state grants and vouchers.

To determine financial aid eligibility a prospective student must be able to provide the Financial Aid Advisor with the following:

  1. Proof of citizenship or US Permanent Resident Status

  2. Proof of Income from the Previous Tax Filing Year. This may be a Federal Tax Return, Social Security Award Letter, HRA Benefit Letter or other.
